Wine: 2015 Clos Floridene Blanc

From: France; Bordeaux, Graves

Grapes: 50% Semillon, 48% Sauvignon Blanc, 2% Muscadelle

Cost: $26

Alcohol: 13%

Taste: Great. Grapefruit and citrus, followed by a loooong minerally finish.

It was too cold when I first poured it—as you can see in the pics—but it really came into it’s own when it warmed up a bit.

Other Stuff:  I really enjoy white Bordeaux blends. This one is now on my list of favorites. It’s really well balanced. The fresh acidity paired perfectly with the salmon and butternut squash ravioli that I made for dinner.

Aromas of honeysuckle, fresh herbs and lemon.

Bottom line … it’s awesome and I love it.
